Interpretative particularities of the Moldavian repertoire for clarinet by Eugen Verbetsky (based on the V. Rotaru's compositions)

In this article author analysis the interpretation of two miniatures for the clarinet and piano composed by V. Rotaru. The study is based on audio recordings of unique value, founded at the „Teleradio-Moldova” funds. Ballad for the clarinet and chamber orchestra has been performed by E. Verbetsky (clarinet) and Chamber Orchestra „Teleradio-Moldova” in 1976. Romance for clarinet and piano has been included at the documentary “Eugen Verbetsky” produced in 1976 by „Moldova-Film” company. The author tried to determine some aspects of the interpretive style of E. Verbetsky, specific of compositor’s text treatment, individual approach to clarinet part, dynamic indications, articulation, etc.
